
Dr. Jeffrey Spencer practices
functional medicine in the professional athletic world. His
impressive client list includes the likes of Tiger Woods,
Lance Armstrong and NASCAR star Bobby LaBonte. Dr. Spencer is
the author of two sports medicine books and has written
articles featured in such publications as RacerX Magazine and
Chiropractic Wellness & Health Magazine. He has given
dozens of seminars on athletic injuries and healing, and has
served as a keynote speaker at many distinguished events such
as the Opening Ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics.
Dr.
Spencer received his Master’s Degree in Sports Science at the
University of Southern California where he was honored as the
‘Outstanding Senior Student’ of his class. He was also
recognized with the ‘Outstanding Clinician Award’ when he
graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College
in Los Angeles. After receiving his post-graduate Certified
Chiropractic Sports Physician degree from Los Angeles
Chiropractic College, he became a postgraduate faculty member
teaching sports injury rehabilitation. Dr. Spencer was most
recently awarded the 2004 International Chiropractic
Association’s ‘Sports Chiropractor of the Year’
Award.
